GCM S.T.E.P.S. Program

Our Crisis Management program helps families and/or individuals that have fallen on hard times due to a crisis in their lives. GCM enrolls them in our voluntary program called S.T.E.P.S (Strategies To Empower People for Success). This program provides monthly mentoring/coaching, services, resources, and referrals to help make permanent beneficial changes in their lives with the goal of once again becoming self-sufficient. GCM provides both basic necessities as well as life skill assistance/recommendations for personal growth and self-improvement.

GCM WORK PATH CLASS

Teaches timeless biblical principles concerning work and the ways those principles are applied in the marketplace. Through this training, men and women develop character and become connected to a community of support to help them obtain far more than just a job. They experience life, a life filled with confidence, self-control, coaching, learning, and faith.

The number one quality companies look for in their employees is character, and yet many of our neighbors who struggle finding and keeping employment do not exhibit the character or have access to community support systems to help them experience success in the marketplace.
Gainesville Community Ministry (GCM) can be an extraordinary resource to help people learn character and become connected to a community of support allowing them to achieve not only success at work but also success at life.
